Kate Gosselin has drastically changed her life after moving from a nearly 24-acre, 7,300-square-foot home in Pennsylvania to a .88-acre, 3,560-square-foot modest house in North Carolina.
An insider told, the “Kate Plus 8” alum “is very happy and at peace” in her new downsized lifestyle
adding that at the moment she has no plans to return to reality television.
The news comes after her estranged son, Collin, recently addressed his lack of relationship with his mom
which he says started even before he was institutionalized for behavioral issues in early 2018.
In 2018, Gosselin, 47, purchased the four-bedroom, five-bathroom waterfront home in the North Carolina town of Troutman for $750,000, records shows.
The move came shortly before she lost custody of her son, Collin, and later, Hannah.
Kate’s new and much smaller home is situated on Lake Norman and features include an owner’s suite with dual bathrooms.
Other features include a pool, hot tub, and an extended garage underneath the veranda.
Meanwhile, Collin noted that he didn’t let his mom’s absence from a 2018 court hearing, which resulted in Jon obtaining sole physical and legal custody, “bother” him.
